If you're researching sound healing certification, the first thing worth knowing is that almost none of the schools selling one will tell you what the word actually means in this field.

What "Accredited" Actually Means for a Sound Healing Certification

No sound healing certification in the United States is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education. Sound healing isn't a licensed profession, and there's no government regulator for it. Any school implying otherwise is wrong, and any school that avoids the question is hoping nobody asks.

"Accredited" in this field refers to one of four different things, and they carry different weight depending on what the credential needs to do:
