Heavy, thick-wall Jambati. Grounding and empowering sound. This bowl is an ideal sample of sonic harmony. The dominating frequency of the fundamental tone is 112Hertz, which is A (LA) of the second octave plus two Hertz. The first overtone is just three Hertz above the note E (Mi) of the fourth octave, and the ratio between the overtone and the fundamental tone is 2.97 (333/112). The second overtone is an octave above the first one with the difference of minus six Hertz. This instrument leaves no neutral emotional response once being stroke and it is an easy player - just rub the rim, and it will sing equally good low and high tones (depending on the playing technique and type of a mallet). An excellent instrument to use in individual meditation practice and private healing sessions. It could be placed with other bowls as a set for group meditation. This bowl is equally good for beginners and experienced practitioners. Excellent bowl for massaging (M-5)
