Thick-wall, heavy Jambati. This bowl is a beautifully tuned instrument with a slow, well-balanced sound. Its’ tones are opening the heart and whispering to the listener's ears "let go".
The ratios of the overtones and the fundamental tone are 3.08 for the first overtone and 6.05 for the second, which very well demonstrates that the second overtone is an octave above of the first one.
This bowl plays clear and easy on the rim. The high pitch is somewhat dominating all the other tones.
This one is a very good instrument for individual meditation and healing work.
This bowl is equally good for beginners and experienced practitioners. (M-2)
