Everything you need to start playing your singing bowl is listed in this category. Here, you'll find a wide selection of striking mallets and various sticks designed to make your singing bowl resonate effortlessly. These accessories provide an ample starting point for your sound healing practice with Himalayan (Tibetan) sound bowls. Please note that if you purchase one, two, or even ten singing bowls from our website, all necessary mallets for playing them will be included with your order at no extra charge.
A singing bowl can be held in your open palm or fingertips, or placed on a cushion or any other soft surface. Ensure your palm is flat when holding the instrument. It's important to avoid touching the sides of the singing bowl as this can muffle the sound. Only touch the bottom of your sound bowl.
Remember, even though these vessels are made from metal, they are extremely delicate.
Feel free to experiment with different mallets to find one that coaxes the best sound from your singing bowl. Small singing bowls may produce a very quiet sound if the mallet is too large or too soft. In such cases, opt for a smaller, firmer mallet. For large sound bowls, larger and softer mallets work best. A mallet that is too small and firm may not bring out all the tones of a larger bowl.
All singing bowls purchased from our website come with the appropriate size complimentary striking and rubbing mallets.
