Thick-wall, heavy Jambati. This bowl is a beautifully tuned instrument with an extremely well-balanced sound. Its’ tones are opening the heart and whispering to the listener's ears "let go".
The ratios of the overtones and the fundamental tone are 3.06 for the first overtone and 5.97 for the second, which very well demonstrates that this bowl is very close to be harmonically tuned
Very good instrument for individual meditation and healing work, and is equally good for beginners and experienced practitioners.
Easily plays the fundamental tone with a suede padded end of the mallet.
Frequencies: 153-156Hz (D#3 Concert pitch). Monaural beats range Delta. 469-474Hz (A#4+3Hz). Monaural beats range Theta. Other frequencies: 914Hz, 1454Hz, 2066Hz.
